Spectators: 6861 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1861, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francis Patel got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lungie Dube got free with Patrick Nhlapo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, FC Mamphokgo's Mthunzi Stoltz got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lindo Pretorius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patrick Nhlapo. FC Mamphokgo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Harry Collins in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrick Nhlapo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 19th minute, FC Mamphokgo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Harry Collins fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boyisana Mahlangu in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nazeer Mandela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ismail Modipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boyisana Mahlangu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazeer Mandela having to interfere. When Boyisana Mahlangu came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC Mamphokgo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyisana Mahlangu couldn't finish the play. Harry Collins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francis Patel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patrick Nhlapo came out and tried to block the shot, but Francis Patel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Godfrey Kerns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismail Modipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Ismail Modipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Milton Madiba came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Mamphokgo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Madiba couldn't finish the play. If Harry Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francis Patel struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Patrick Nhlapo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qwakazana. In the 69th minute Francis Patel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Nhlapo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismail Modipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nazeer Mandela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, James Mandela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qwakazana and the FC Mamphokgo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Qwakazana's James Mandela got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, FC Mamphokgo's Ismail Modipa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nazeer Mandela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Qwakazana got a freekick which was hit by Lungie Dube. Boyisana Mahlangu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qwakazana's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
