Buccaneers's Etienne Tau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nkosi Mabalane in the 9th minute of play. Etienne Tau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrell Thokozani in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nkosi Mabalane in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Etienne Tau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Buccaneers getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Samuel Roberts hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Lesego Mbheki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norman Manyethela was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Etienne Tau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrell Thokozani in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Buccaneers's zone, Tyrell Thokozani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Etienne Tau came out of the goal and Tyrell Thokozani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Buccaneers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Noizela were winning 0-1.

In the 52nd minute Lesego Mbheki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman Manyethela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Mthunzi Mokatimi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nkosi Mabalane got free with Etienne Tau in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Nkosi Mabalane came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Noizela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nkosi Mabalane couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Buccaneers's Silas Wanani got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Mando Inguana, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Henry Laher fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Noizela's protests and gave Henry Laher a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Buccaneers booed when Noizela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Laher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tyrell Thokozani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Buccaneers's zone, Tyrell Thokozani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Etienne Tau came out of the goal and Tyrell Thokozani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tyrell Thokozani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etienne Tau having to interfere. When the match was over Noizela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Buccaneers throughout the match.
