An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindo Strauss in the 21st minute of play forced Pakita Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Freddie Mangope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lindo Strauss managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kapilaan's supporters rose to their feet, but Lindo Strauss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddie Mangope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Thokozani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Pakita Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jikolo Edwards. With a left leg Freddie Mangope saved Pakita Futebol Clube from getting behind. Lindo Stoltz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Mkhwanazi in the 43rd minute of play. Oliver Serage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lindo Strauss made a kick off. The supporters of FC Kapilaan booed when Pakita Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Nomvete didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Kapilaan's Lindo Strauss slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Freddie Mangope. That made the score 0-2 after 54 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Thokozani in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Mangope saved Pakita Futebol Clube from getting behind. FC Kapilaan's Lindo Stoltz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Mkhwanazi in the 61st minute of play. Pakita Futebol Clube's Freddie Mangope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Pakita Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismail Strauss in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Mangope saved Pakita Futebol Clube from getting behind. Daniel Nomvete kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Freddie Mangope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismail Strauss in the 70th minute of play. Freddie Mangope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lindo Strauss in the 72nd minute. Albert Thokozani might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddie Mangope. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Thokozani ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Pakita Futebol Clube's zone, Ismail Strauss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Mangope came out of the goal and Ismail Strauss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pakita Futebol Clube's Jikolo Edwards got a free kick in the 76th minute. Freddie Mangope stood somewhat misplaced when Albert Thokozani came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 80 minute. 89 minutes into the game, Ismail Thompson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Freddie Mangope was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Freddie Mangope was a little too slow when Ismail Strauss got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-6. When the match was over FC Kapilaan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pakita Futebol Clube throughout the match.
