When Enock Smith came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Middeldal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enock Smith couldn't finish the play. Elias Tshabalala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanjay Bartlett having to interfere. RUSTENBURG F.C's Sanjay Bartlett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Tshabalala in the 73rd minute of play. Shakeel Machete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enock King having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Daniel Kanku mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Middeldal and the RUSTENBURG F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enock Smith ran back to his position shaking his head. Edries Patel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Enock King made a huge save. There was no doubt that Middeldal were the better team. Middeldal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
