With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lindo Strauss in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brandon Nunes saved FC Hopwood from getting behind. Jonas Pretorius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lindo Stoltz having to interfere. FC Kapilaan's Lindo Stoltz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Pretorius in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, FC Kapilaan's Ismail Strauss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brandon Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Patrick Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hopwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Kapilaan getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ismail Strauss hit a great ball. After 40 minutes of play, FC Kapilaan's Jason Mahlangu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brandon Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the game, Ismail Strauss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kapilaan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hopwood the free kick. 45 minutes into the match, Lindo Strauss notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Hopwood's Brandon Nunes. Brandon Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Pretorius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonas Nhlapo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Brandon Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismail Strauss got free with Brandon Nunes in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brandon Nunes came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kapilaan's Ismail Strauss. But to his dismay, Ismail Strauss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Lindo Strauss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brandon Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Thokozani went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, FC Kapilaan's goal looked a bit too open when Lindo Thabang came free, but Lindo Stoltz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
