Sanjay Bartlett came out of the goal and Lesego Mbheki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Lesego Mbheki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sanjay Bartlett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sanjay Bartlett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aubrey Setlaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Aubrey Setlaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sanjay Bartlett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Ricky Sono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lesego Mbheki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanjay Bartlett having to interfere. Sanjay Bartlett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Wanani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sanjay Bartlett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lesego Mbheki in the 25th minute of the match. Buccaneers's Etienne Tau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shakeel Machete in the 30th minute of play. Lesego Mbheki's late challenge caught a RUSTENBURG F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lesego Mbheki helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Buccaneers getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lesego Mbheki hit a great ball. Edries Patel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Etienne Tau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 45 minutes into the match, Edries Patel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Etienne Tau. Buccaneers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edries Patel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

Sanjay Bartlett made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Aubrey Setlaba sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edries Patel during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edries Patel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Etienne Tau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shakeel Machete's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Buccaneers getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Samuel Roberts hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shakeel Machete in the 66th minute of play forced Buccaneers's goalkeeper Etienne Tau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Shakeel Machete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Edries Patel notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Buccaneers's Etienne Tau. Etienne Tau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Lesego Mbheki collided with one of RUSTENBURG F.C's players - so bad that he fractured his nose. When Simamane Mkhize fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RUSTENBURG F.C's protests and gave Simamane Mkhize a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes RUSTENBURG F.C got a freekick which was hit by Simamane Mkhize. In the 86th match minute, RUSTENBURG F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanton Macheke to maneuver through the defense. Sanjay Bartlett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aubrey Setlaba in the 89th minute. Etienne Tau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edries Patel in the 95th minute of play. RUSTENBURG F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
