Brandon Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Thebile, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Elias Madima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Pretorius in the 8th minute of the match. Jikolo Mumede hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tomas Thebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, FC Hopwood's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Thebile came free, but Brandon Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Louisdal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Melele. The supporters of FC Hopwood booed when Louisdal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Takane didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Jikolo Mumede in the 18th minute really tested Elias Madima's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Louisdal booed when FC Hopwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ebrahim Madiya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Tomas Thebile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Thebile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Thebe in the 34th minute of play forced FC Hopwood's goalkeeper Brandon Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ebrahim Madiya hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jonas Pretorius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Tomas Thebe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Raymond Mufumadi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brandon Nunes. FC Hopwood's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Brandon Nunes made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Tomas Thebe sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lindo Thabang managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hopwood's supporters rose to their feet, but Lindo Thabang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Madima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Madima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Pretorius in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Jonas Pretorius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Madima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gordon Takane went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Louisdal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
