After 28 minutes of play, Buffelshoek's Albert Mandla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Madima was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steve Pretorius during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Steve Pretorius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Madima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Mandla in the 34th minute of the match. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Louisdal booed when Buffelshoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Sewele didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Louisdal's Raymond Mufumadi tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Thebile to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Louisdal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Buffelshoek:s goal. If Rafael Mokhasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Madima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Mokhasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Tomas Thebile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Tembe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Buffelshoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Pretorius to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buffelshoek's goalkeeper Tomas Tembe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Thebile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Tembe having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Tomas Thebe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Louisdal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buffelshoek the free kick. Tomas Tembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Thebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Louisdal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Buffelshoek's performance. The match ended with a win for Buffelshoek.
