Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) 6 minutes into the game, Ismail Khumalo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Silas Khumalo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 played minutes Beledale got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Manyethela. Shumani Macheke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mando Dube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Tyeni's Mando Dube threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Noxolo Mumede, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Shumani Macheke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Shumani Macheke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tyeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shumani Macheke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Tyeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shumani Macheke to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Lazarus Shongwe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mando Dube skillfully saved the ball. After 40 played minutes Tyeni got a freekick which was hit by Lebang Thebe. Ismail Khumalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mando Dube made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shumani Macheke in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Beledale's Akil Webb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silas Khumalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noxolo Mumede to strike the kick off in the second half. Silas Khumalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismail Khumalo in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Tyeni booed when Beledale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mpenza Thompson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Tyeni's Patrice Maduna tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Tyeni's Shumani Macheke in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beledale's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shumani Macheke in the 71st minute of play forced Beledale's goalkeeper Mando Dube to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Beledale got a freekick which was hit by Mpenza Thompson. After a defensive mix-up in Beledale's zone, Shumani Macheke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mando Dube came out of the goal and Shumani Macheke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silas Khumalo was a little too slow when Ismail Khumalo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-3. After 94 played minutes Beledale got a freekick which was hit by Mpenza Thompson. After 96 played minutes Beledale got a freekick which was hit by Akil Webb. Patrice Maduna was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Beledale players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
