Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) FC Zimbane's Noxolo Kolwa got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Tyeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noxolo Mumede to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zimbane's zone, Shumani Macheke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Mhlongo came out of the goal and Shumani Macheke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half FC Zimbane were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute, Tyeni's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mpho Sono fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 64 minutes into the game, one of FC Zimbane:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Tyeni a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Patrice Maduna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Zimbane's Tomas Mhlongo. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Tyeni's Noxolo Mumede got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Noxolo Kolwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mpho Sono got in the 73rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Silas Khumalo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Noxolo Kolwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Noxolo Mumede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tyeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noxolo Mumede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
