Justice Bartlett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Michael King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brandon Mufadi struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Lindo Strauss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sebayeng. If Madolo Mandela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lindo Strauss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Mufadi in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Madolo Mandela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sebayeng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Madolo Mandela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justice Bartlett might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael King. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justice Bartlett ran back to his position shaking his head. Brandon Mufadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lindo Strauss having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Mneketshe's goal looked a bit too open when Madolo Mandela came free, but Lindo Strauss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jocob Josephs kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mneketshe! Mneketshe:s Lindo Strauss showed great skill when he stopped Alpheus Mothobi:s penalty. Alpheus Mothobi scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lindo Strauss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mneketshe's Lindo Strauss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Mufadi in the 38th minute of play. Madolo Mandela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Sebayeng's goalkeeper Michael King had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justice Bartlett. The Mneketshe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sebayeng were winning 0-1.

Michael King made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismail Madiba in the 54th minute of play. Brandon Mufadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lindo Strauss having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Mneketshe's goalkeeper Lindo Strauss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brandon Mufadi. Michael King showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justice Bartlett in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Samuel Mkhize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mneketshe's goalkeeper Lindo Strauss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mneketshe's Ismail Madiba got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, one of Mneketshe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mneketshe. Brandon Mufadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lindo Strauss having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Madolo Mandela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mneketshe's Lindo Strauss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Madolo Mandela scored 0-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lindo Strauss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mneketshe's Lindo Strauss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madolo Mandela in the 94th minute of play. Brandon Mufadis short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Lindo Strauss to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sebayeng played a much better game than Mneketshe and deserved their victory. The Mneketshe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
