In the 55th minute, Ismail Madiba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lindo Strauss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, DISTRICT 9's Johann Thompson got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes Mneketshe got a freekick which was hit by Thabile Nkadimeng. The supporters of Mneketshe booed when DISTRICT 9 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vuyani Sewele didn't get a good kick on the ball.
