Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when William Mncube kicked off to start the match. Tyrell Fortuin's late challenge caught a Sebayeng's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyrell Fortuin helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Lutha fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Mathibela Dinha had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Alpheus Mothobi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nick Melele charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nick Melele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Nick Melele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Ismail Thobejane in the 8th minute really tested Mathibela Dinha's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Lutha's Nick Melele got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Madolo Mandela in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathibela Dinha saved FC Lutha from getting behind. FC Lutha's Mpho Thembe got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathibela Dinha stood somewhat misplaced when Madolo Mandela came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. William Mncube fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael King having to interfere. After 37 played minutes, Sebayeng's Brandon Mothobi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mathibela Dinha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sebayeng reached it. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Lutha! Alpheus Mothobi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mathibela Dinha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madolo Mandela in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Madolo Mandela to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Lutha getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Alex Kubheka hit a great ball. Nick Melele kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, FC Lutha's goal looked a bit too open when Madolo Mandela came free, but Mathibela Dinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lutha's zone, Brandon Mufadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathibela Dinha came out of the goal and Brandon Mufadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madolo Mandela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathibela Dinha having to interfere. Madolo Mandela struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Mathibela Dinha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sebayeng. In the 76th minute, Madolo Mandela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sebayeng's Brandon Mufadi in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Lutha's goalie prevented a goal. Mathibela Dinha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madolo Mandela, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Madolo Mandela in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathibela Dinha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brandon Mufadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathibela Dinha having to interfere. If Brandon Mufadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Mncube received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Michael King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madolo Mandela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathibela Dinha having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sebayeng fully deserved thier win.
