In the 14th minute, Hoadley Wanani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hoadley Wanani's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lindo Strauss firmly grabbed it by the left post. Siyabonge Mbheki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismail Madiba in the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Blaton FC's zone, Justice Bartlett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siyabonge Mbheki came out of the goal and Justice Bartlett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hanile Mkhize's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lindo Strauss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Hoadley Wanani struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Lindo Strauss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blaton FC. In the 33rd minute, Hanile Mkhize fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lindo Strauss, passed just outside the right post. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 43 minutes into the match, Blaton FC's Hoadley Wanani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lindo Strauss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hanile Mkhize struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Lindo Strauss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blaton FC. The audience was convinced that Ismail Madiba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siyabonge Mbheki was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanile Mkhize in the 56th minute of play forced Mneketshe's goalkeeper Lindo Strauss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lindo Strauss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hanile Mkhize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Mneketshe got a freekick which was hit by Vuyo Mathibe. In the 71st match minute, Mneketshe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jocob Josephs to maneuver through the defense. Blaton FC's Hanile Mkhize got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justice Bartlett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siyabonge Mbheki having to make a save. If Ismail Madiba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siyabonge Mbheki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismail Madiba in the 91st minute of play. Siyabonge Mbheki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismail Madiba in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 98th match minute, Blaton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanile Mkhize to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
