Spectators: 8303 (Terracing: 6351, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 5) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sizwe Thokozani took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sanjay Mbheki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bradley Nomvete. FC Gelukshof's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Musa Vanker hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Sizwe Thokozani kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Legako Sephiri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bradley Nomvete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradley Nomvete made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mthunzi Sibeko in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Legako Sephiri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Nomvete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradley Nomvete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Legako Sephiri in the 16th minute of play. Mthunzi Sibeko was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 27 played minutes FC Mkemane got a freekick which was hit by Albert Mabele. Jafta Mabele didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sizwe Thokozani went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Sam Lekgwathi came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Gelukshof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Lekgwathi couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Sam Lekgwathi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mthunzi Sibeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sam Lekgwathi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jafta Mabele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Bongi Magagane hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jafta Mabele came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gelukshof's Sizwe Thokozani. But to his dismay, Sizwe Thokozani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Legako Sephiri might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bradley Nomvete. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Legako Sephiri ran back to his position shaking his head. Mthunzi Sibeko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bradley Nomvete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Gelukshof's Lindo Mbheki got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Jafta Mabele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Lekgwathi in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noxolo Mabalane got free with Jafta Mabele in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mthunzi Sibeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gary Kubheka kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Sizwe Thokozani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes FC Mkemane got a freekick which was hit by John Sephadi. Legako Sephiri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Nomvete having to interfere. Jafta Mabele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sizwe Thokozani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sam Lekgwathi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Gelukshof eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
