After having played for 7 minutes, Jikolo Arendse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KuGqangushe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jikolo Arendse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nelson Nauseb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lazarus Smith charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lazarus Smith the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jikolo Arendse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rob Ntsume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Nauseb, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Jikolo Arendse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KuGqangushe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jikolo Arendse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Jikolo Arendse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rob Ntsume was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Soloman Madima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rob Ntsume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, KuGqangushe's Nelson Nauseb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rob Ntsume made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thami Setlaba was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Michael Sono capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Sono really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Soloman Madima charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Soloman Madima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Soloman Madima hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Michael Sono had several of the KuGqangushe's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Thami Setlaba as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Jikolo Arendse, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rob Ntsume was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jikolo Arendse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Ntsume having to interfere. If Nelson Nauseb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Sono stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hlamane Mahlangu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thami Setlaba having to interfere. KuGqangushe's Thami Setlaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hlamane Mahlangu in the 59th minute of play. Jikolo Arendse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rob Ntsume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nelson Nauseb came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the KuGqangushe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Nauseb couldn't finish the play. With his leg Rob Ntsume managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when KuGqangushe's Jikolo Arendse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson Nauseb in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rob Ntsume prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ruitersbos's zone, Jikolo Arendse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Ntsume came out of the goal and Jikolo Arendse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jikolo Arendse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismail Mothobi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ruitersbos's zone, Jikolo Arendse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Ntsume came out of the goal and Jikolo Arendse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jikolo Arendse didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-4 via right post in the game's 87th minute. KuGqangushe's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Nelson Nausebs short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Rob Ntsume to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, FC Ruitersbos's Rob Ntsume got control of the ball when Jikolo Arendse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jikolo Arendse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Ruitersbos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KuGqangushe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
