The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elias Modipa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maluleke Kekana in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cornell Takane made the kick off in the second half. Maluleke Kekana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Elias Modipa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maluleke Kekana in the 80th minute of the match. Maluleke Kekana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Modipa having to interfere.
