Delron Klaasens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrell Bartlett in the 19th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Nino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrell Bartlett came free, but Delron Klaasens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hoadley Mncube's late challenge caught a Nino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hoadley Mncube helped the player get up and apologised. Soutpomp AFC's Terence Makweni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maluleke Mathibe in the 28th minute of play. Delron Klaasens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yacoob Takane in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Soutpomp AFC's Yacoob Takane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delron Klaasens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Delron Klaasens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Shoba in the 37th minute of play. Maluleke Mathibe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terence Makweni having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maluleke Mathibe was the one to do the kick off. Tyrell Bartlett's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Delron Klaasens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Terence Makweni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maluleke Mathibe went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute Maluleke Mathibe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terence Makweni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Maluleke Mathibe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Terence Makweni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Delron Klaasens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yacoob Takane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delron Klaasens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yacoob Takane in the 80th minute of the match. Yacoob Takane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delron Klaasens having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Yacoob Takane got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 92 minutes into the game, Yacoob Takane lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Delron Klaasens. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nino FC had won after a very even match.
