Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gruisklip's goalkeeper Bradley Thompson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Madiya in the 13th minute of play forced Gruisklip's goalkeeper Bradley Thompson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akil Shongwe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Maluleke Kekana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gruisklip's supporters rose to their feet, but Maluleke Kekana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Akil Shongwe to strike the kick off in the second half. Maluleke Kekana scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maseti Mncube, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the game, FC Magogeni's Jonas Serage nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maseti Mncube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maluleke Kekana, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th match minute, FC Magogeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Madiya to maneuver through the defense. Gruisklip's Bradley Thompson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Gruisklip from getting a goal against them. In the 86thth minute of the game Maluleke Kekana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Magogeni's Maseti Mncube was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maseti Mncube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maluleke Kekana, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Vuyani Stoltz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Magogeni's Maseti Mncube played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maluleke Kekana in the 94th minute of play. Maseti Mncube showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vuyani Stoltz in the 97th minute of the match. Gruisklip's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
