When Milton King came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FC Masters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton King couldn't finish the play. If Milton King had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Phakathi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradley Qabi was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jikolo Smith stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Bradley Qabi managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Susterstroom's Kingston Lekgwathi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jikolo Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bradley Qabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Phakathi in the 72nd minute of the match. Jikolo Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nkosi Mafuna having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Nicolas Phakathi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Phakathi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bradley Qabi. That made the score 1-2 in the 78 minute of play. Freddie Mufadi's late challenge caught a FC Masters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddie Mufadi helped the player get up and apologised. Freddie Mufadi kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Masters's Bradley Qabi got control of the ball when Kingston Lekgwathi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolas Phakathi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Qabi having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Susterstroom had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
