THE FLYING EAGLES's Lebang Konza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Mangope in the 40th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alpheus Takane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumisane Koen in the 79th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Delron Patel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kift boys f.c and the THE FLYING EAGLES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delron Patel hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Kift boys f.c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumisane Koen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kift boys f.c's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
