In the 11th minute Jason Lekgwathi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Kubheka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melusi Shoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Kubheka having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Melusi Shoba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jason Lekgwathi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Kubheka having to interfere. ZA Red Devil MZ-eSports were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Westside FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuel Etafia took the corner. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jason Lekgwathi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Westside FC booed when ZA Red Devil MZ-eSports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maluleke Sibeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tyrell Collins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maluleke Sibeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justice Dinha's late challenge caught a ZA Red Devil MZ-eSports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradley Kubheka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Lekgwathi in the 79th minute of the match. Nkosi Qabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Maluleke Sibeko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZA Red Devil MZ-eSports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maluleke Sibeko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Westside FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ZA Red Devil MZ-eSports's performance. The match ended with a win for ZA Red Devil MZ-eSports.
