Nonceba
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas Fortuin started the match with the kick off. Mthunzi Madiya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Roberts in the 3rd minute of the match. Rising Sun F.C's Mthunzi Maduna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Fortuin in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Rising Sun F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mpenza Inguana to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes of play, Nonceba's Mpho Tshabalala made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mthunzi Maduna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Fortuin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Mthunzi Maduna 13 minutes into the match. Sam Roberts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mthunzi Madiya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Mthunzi Maduna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Fortuin in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Nonceba booed when Rising Sun F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Musa Mabalane didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Thomas Fortuin took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Mthunzi Maduna to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Nonceba getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Phillip Madiba hit a great ball. Nonceba's Mthunzi Madiya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Roberts in the 42nd minute of play. When Mpho Tshabalala came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Nonceba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mpho Tshabalala couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Fortuin in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mthunzi Maduna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thomas Fortuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rising Sun F.C's Mthunzi Maduna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Fortuin in the 61st minute of play. Mpho Tshabalala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mthunzi Maduna having to interfere. In the 65th minute Yacoob Klein suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Mthunzi Maduna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mpho Tshabalala in the 68th minute of play. Mpho Tshabalala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mthunzi Maduna having to interfere. If Mpho Tshabalala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Milton Vanker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mthunzi Maduna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes, Thanyani King mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nonceba and the Rising Sun F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mthunzi Maduna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mpho Tshabalala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrice Magagane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mthunzi Madiya having to interfere. In the 85th minute Mpho Tshabalala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mthunzi Maduna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milton Vanker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes of play, Nonceba's Mpho Tshabalala made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mthunzi Maduna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Milton Vanker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mthunzi Maduna having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nonceba fully deserved thier win.
