Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Alex Mabele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sanjay Sibeko came out of the goal and Alex Mabele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Takalani Khumalo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sanjay Sibeko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ottosdal. After 19 minutes of play, Ottosdal's Takalani Khumalo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sanjay Sibeko was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Takalani Khumalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sanjay Sibeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Sanjay Sibeko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Mabele. In the 24th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathibela Magagane to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takalani Khumalo in the 26th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Sanjay Sibeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ottosdal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lesego Machete in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute, Ottosdal's Takalani Khumalo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 35 minutes into the game, Anton Khomane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ottosdal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. Alex Mabele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sanjay Sibeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Khomane, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, one of Liverpool FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Liverpool FC. Sanjay Sibeko had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Lesego Machete's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sanjay Sibeko stood somewhat misplaced when Lesego Machete came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 48 minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Madiya made a kick off. When Takalani Khumalo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ottosdal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takalani Khumalo couldn't finish the play. Sanjay Sibeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Mabele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ottosdal's Alex Mabele in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 72nd match minute, Ottosdal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Thobejane to maneuver through the defense. Alex Mabele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanjay Sibeko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Mathibela Magagane got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Takalani Khumalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ottosdal fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Ottosdal's Takalani Khumalo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Thobejane in the 84th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Sanjay Sibeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
