A collision led to Ncambeli getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Meshack Serage hit a great ball. Siyabonge King was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lebang Madima. Akil Madima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Promise Mayoyo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ncambeli's Joseph Bandura. But to his dismay, Joseph Bandura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Meshack Serage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lungie Madiya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akil Madima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Siyabonge King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siyabonge King made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vuyani Mhlongo in the 34th minute of play. Siyabonge King made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akil Madima in the 36th minute. Siyabonge King showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vuyani Mhlongo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Lungie Madiya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Promise Mayoyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joseph Bandura to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lungie Madiya got free with Promise Mayoyo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mando Khomane hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Sword Of The Morning FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Bandura came free, but Promise Mayoyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ncambeli's Siyabonge King played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akil Madima in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Ncambeli's goal looked a bit too open when Vuyani Mhlongo came free, but Siyabonge King reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Bandura struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Promise Mayoyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ncambeli. The Ncambeli supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ncambeli would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
