Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Patrice Qabi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Etienne Ntsume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terence Madiya having to interfere. When Johann Modise came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Rini MKB 2005 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johann Modise couldn't finish the play. Etienne Ntsume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Rini MKB 2005's goal looked a bit too open when Jikolo Radebe came free, but Vuyo Fredericks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob Serage scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vuyo Fredericks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Rob Serage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vuyo Fredericks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vuyo Fredericks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrice Qabi in the 23rd minute of play. Vuyo Fredericks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrice Qabi in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Rini MKB 2005 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Stanton Nauseb hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Eiffel got a freekick which was hit by Bomikaze Takalani. 34 minutes into the match, Stanton Nauseb notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Eiffel's Terence Madiya. Terence Madiya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th match minute, Eiffel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jikolo Radebe to maneuver through the defense. Vuyo Fredericks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrice Qabi in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Jikolo Radebe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eiffel and the Rini MKB 2005 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Eiffel got a freekick which was hit by Jikolo Radebe. 44 minutes into the match, Bomikaze Takalani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vuyo Fredericks. Rini MKB 2005's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bomikaze Takalani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johann Modise was the one to do the kick off. Johann Modise took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Terence Madiya. Terence Madiya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Rob Serage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Vuyo Fredericks made a huge save. Jikolo Radebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vuyo Fredericks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Leslie Mfeke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rini MKB 2005's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eiffel the free kick. A collision led to Rini MKB 2005 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Leslie Mfeke hit a great ball. Bomikaze Takalani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vuyo Fredericks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrice Qabi in the 66th minute of play forced Rini MKB 2005's goalkeeper Vuyo Fredericks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bomikaze Takalani took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vuyo Fredericks. Vuyo Fredericks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. After 86 minutes, Dumisane Mokhasi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rini MKB 2005 and the Eiffel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Dumisane Mokhasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Takalani Tau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vuyo Fredericks showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Rini MKB 2005's Vuyo Fredericks got control of the ball when Rob Serage tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vuyo Fredericks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrice Qabi in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes of play Eiffel's Jikolo Radebe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Stanton Nauseb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terence Madiya having to interfere. The Rini MKB 2005 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Eiffel's performance. The match ended with a win for Eiffel.
