Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mathibela King took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ivan Mangope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Musa Arendse, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Ivan Mangope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mabusela Makweni in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Samuel Komani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Springbok fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Springbok's Edries Liau got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sam Komani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edries Liau in the 15th minute of the match. Mabusela Makweni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes, Mathibela King made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Springbok's Ivan Mangope tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mabusela Makweni succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After 34 played minutes Uluxa got a freekick which was hit by Norman Tshabalala. In the 35th minute Samuel Komani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Komani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edries Liau in the 37th minute of play forced Uluxa's goalkeeper Sam Komani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Oliver Mbheki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Springbok's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uluxa the free kick. After 41 played minutes Springbok got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Mbheki. Ivan Mangope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noxolo Tau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edries Liau to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Edries Liau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sam Komani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edries Liau in the 71st minute of play. After 75 played minutes Springbok got a freekick which was hit by Takalani Josephs. The supporters of Springbok booed when Uluxa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Musa Arendse didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Uluxa's Sam Komani got control of the ball when Samuel Komani tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute Edries Liau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Komani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
