Spectators: 7820 (Terracing: 6500, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mawetu Nomvete kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Silver Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Jikolo Radebe came free, but Nicholas Magakula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mawetu Nomvete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terence Madiya having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Aubrey Nauseb got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nicholas Magakula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Serage in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Eiffel's goalkeeper Terence Madiya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mawetu Nomvete. Nicholas Magakula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrice Qabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Patrice Qabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Magakula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jikolo Radebe's late challenge caught a Silver Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jikolo Radebe helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob Serage in the 28th minute of play forced Silver Stars's goalkeeper Nicholas Magakula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bomikaze Takalani during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Silver Stars booed when Eiffel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bomikaze Takalani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Themba Sephiri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Promise Dube shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicholas Magakula showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicholas Magakula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Serage in the 40th minute of play. Aubrey Nauseb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Terence Madiya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrice Qabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Aubrey Nauseb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rob Serage in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicholas Magakula, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eiffel's Rob Serage got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Patrice Qabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Magakula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrice Qabi in the 60th minute of play forced Silver Stars's goalkeeper Nicholas Magakula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bomikaze Takalani in the 61st minute of play forced Silver Stars's goalkeeper Nicholas Magakula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, one of Silver Stars:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Silver Stars. Promise Dube placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Aubrey Nauseb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jocob Mandla hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, Patrice Qabi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicholas Magakula. Patrice Qabi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 91 minutes into the match, Eiffel's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Machete came free, but Terence Madiya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob Serage kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Eiffel were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Silver Stars's much stronger midfield.
