Henry Sephiri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Soloman Thompson made the kick off in the second half. Mawetu Nomvete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Henry Sephiri made a huge save. Henry Sephiri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mawetu Nomvete in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Mawetu Nomvete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Sephiri. With a little luck, Nayijele's Henry Sephiri got control of the ball when Mawetu Nomvete tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mawetu Nomvete came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henry Sephiri could save by the left post. Henry Sephiri was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Henry Sephiri was a little too slow when Nick Machete got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-6. Thanks to some nice moves Mawetu Nomvete could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Henry Sephiri however easily saved by the left post. In the 94th minute, Ismail Mandla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mawetu Nomvete who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Henry Sephiri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Aubrey Nauseb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silver Stars's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
