Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 185) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mawetu Stoltz made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 played minutes Sev7en Stars got a freekick which was hit by Sipho Mufadi. In the 7th minute of the match, Jeff Mokatimi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silas Radebe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 8th match minute, Sev7en Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thabile Collins to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Andre Konza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Mawetu Stoltz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gaybrook's William Fortuin. William Fortuin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silas Radebe stood somewhat misplaced when Jeff Mokatimi came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 19 minute. Tyrell Inguana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Fortuin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Andre Konza lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Silas Radebe. 33 minutes into the match, Andre Konza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silas Radebe, 3-1. Gaybrook's Simamane Lekgwathi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Makweni in the 43rd minute of play forced Sev7en Stars's goalkeeper Silas Radebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Sev7en Stars's Gordon Tembe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gordon Tembe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sev7en Stars protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gordon Tembe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Gaybrook booed when Sev7en Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Tembe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Jeff Mokatimi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silas Radebe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andre Konza to strike the kick off in the second half. Simamane Lekgwathi scored 4-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silas Radebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nelson Makweni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Gaybrook were the better team. Gaybrook's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
