Nicholas Miti charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicholas Miti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes FINAL BATTLE FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Miti. FINAL BATTLE FC's Albert Ngake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yacoob Mumede in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to stellenbosh city getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mpenza Laher hit a great ball. Rafael Mahlangu, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yacoob Mumede made a kick off. Albert Ngake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yacoob Mumede in the 52nd minute of play. Yacoob Radebe kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Nicholas Miti hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Rafael Mahlangu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but stellenbosh city's Soloman Tembe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albert Ngake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Machete in the 93rd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
