After 9 played minutes Mzumbane got a freekick which was hit by Lucky Serage. After 12 minutes of play, Theuns's Joseph Inguana made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddie Mhlathe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mzumbane's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Rob Khomane scored to the left of an out of position Freddie Mhlathe, making the score, 3-0. In the 18th minute, Theuns's Rob Khomane dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Rob Khomane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Freddie Mhlathe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Theuns's Darren Lekgwathi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Freddie Mhlathe. Freddie Mhlathe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Freddie Mhlathe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Khomane in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Leon Macheke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mzumbane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Theuns the free kick. Leon Macheke kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Joseph Inguana took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddie Mhlathe. Freddie Mhlathe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Rob Khomane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Mzumbane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Smith to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mzumbane's zone, Rob Khomane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Mhlathe came out of the goal and Rob Khomane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shumani Radebe made a kick off. Nils-Emil Hermansson made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Samuel Magakula sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Mzumbane's goal looked a bit too open when Solly Thebile came free, but Freddie Mhlathe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddie Mhlathe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Solly Thebile in the 62nd minute of play. Freddie Mhlathe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Solly Thebile, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes of play, Theuns's Joseph Inguana made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Theuns fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Theuns's Rob Khomane looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jason Smith hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match Madolo Kubheka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddie Mhlathe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Darren Lekgwathi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Theuns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darren Lekgwathi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 75 minutes, Joseph Inguana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Theuns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Inguana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddie Mhlathe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Lekgwathi in the 77th minute of play. Freddie Mhlathe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Khomane, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Joseph Inguana made a precise shot to the right of Freddie Mhlathe. Mzumbane's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. 83 minutes into the game, Theuns's Joseph Inguana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddie Mhlathe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. 86 minutes into the match, Rob Khomane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddie Mhlathe. Mzumbane's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rob Khomane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. Freddie Mhlathe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Inguana, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Rob Khomane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jafta Tshabalala hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Lekgwathi in the 95th minute of play forced Mzumbane's goalkeeper Freddie Mhlathe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theuns's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
