Spectators: 7050 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júnior Donatello kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Júnior Donatello reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Promise Lekgwathi. The goal made the score 1-0. Hassan Tshabalala charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hassan Tshabalala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hassan Tshabalala hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Júnior Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Promise Lekgwathi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bongi Mabele came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Gqeberha All Stars's Lucas Maduna. But to his dismay, Lucas Maduna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jomo Phakathi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thami Miti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bongi Mabele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Promise Lekgwathi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maluleke Josephs, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Donatello in the 35th minute of play forced Gqeberha All Stars's goalkeeper Promise Lekgwathi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thami Miti during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thami Miti hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Bongi Mabele didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Maduna went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jomo Phakathi was the one to do the kick off. Bongi Mabele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thami Miti, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Jomo Phakathi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bongi Mabele was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Agent 007's goalkeeper Bongi Mabele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jomo Phakathi. Promise Lekgwathi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Sephadi in the 57th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Jomo Phakathi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bongi Mabele. Agent 007's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jomo Phakathi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 66th minute, Júnior Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Maduna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Cornell Tau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jomo Phakathi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Maduna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bongi Mabele. That made the score 1-5 in the 75 minute of play. Bongi Mabele came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gqeberha All Stars's Lucas Maduna. But to his dismay, Lucas Maduna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Bongi Mabele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thami Miti in the 89th minute of play. Agent 007's Bongi Mabele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thami Miti in the 89th minute of play. Promise Lekgwathi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Sephadi in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 played minutes Gqeberha All Stars got a freekick which was hit by Basil Mkhonza.
