Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vuyo Dube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Santander in the 13th minute of play forced Pink saints's goalkeeper Henry Kolwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornell Smith hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bilge Kağan Özaltay in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Kolwa saved Pink saints from getting behind. After 15 minutes, Severo Santander made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pink saints's Henry Kolwa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 18 minutes, Jafta Okpara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hotolos jk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jafta Okpara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mpho Mkhize charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mpho Mkhize the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pink saints getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mpho Mkhize hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Takalani Steyn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Kolwa skillfully saved the ball. If Bomikaze Mufumadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucas Edwards hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Severo Santander took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Kolwa. Bilge Kağan Özaltay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Mokhasi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Pink saints players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hotolos jk were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Severo Santander made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pink saints booed when Hotolos jk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyisani Bandura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Bomikaze Mufumadi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vuyo Dube was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 72nd minute, Bomikaze Mufumadi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pink saints fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Mawetu Wanani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vuyo Dube read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Bilge Kağan Özaltay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Kolwa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pink saints's zone, Severo Santander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Kolwa came out of the goal and Severo Santander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hotolos jk getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alex Mokhasi hit a great ball. Ricky Maduna might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vuyo Dube. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricky Maduna ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricky Maduna took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vuyo Dube. Vuyo Dube dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The Hotolos jk players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
