Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Richard Hriadeľ took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Richard Hriadeľ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Mak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marián Hradil's late challenge caught a Vikartovce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marián Hradil helped the player get up and apologised. Stanislav Salák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Richard Hriadeľ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juraj Ondruš hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gabriel Repčík made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Stanislav Salák sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Vikartovce's goal looked a bit too open when Mojmír Hladký came free, but Gabriel Repčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mojmír Hladký in the 28th minute of play forced Vikartovce's goalkeeper Gabriel Repčík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Repčík made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislav Salák in the 29th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Mojmír Hladký managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlkas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mojmír Hladký was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jozef Mak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Hriadeľ went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the game, Vikartovce's Pavol Kráľ nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jozef Mak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mojmír Hladký to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Vlkas booed when Vikartovce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomáš Híreš didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mojmír Hladký sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mojmír Hladký in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Repčík prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jozef Mak acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vladimir Heteš. In the 64th minute, Ľubomír Ferenčík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanislav Salák in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Repčík saved Vikartovce from getting behind. After 74 played minutes, Vikartovce's Erik Lengyel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jozef Mak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vikartovce reached it. 79 minutes into the match, Vlkas's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Hriadeľ came free, but Jozef Mak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pavol Kráľ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jozef Mak came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikartovce's Pavol Kráľ. But to his dismay, Pavol Kráľ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Ivan Lazovič got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pavol Kráľs short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Jozef Mak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vikartovce's Gabriel Repčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Salák in the 99th minute of play.
