Cabov FK's Boris Uher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Cabov FK from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Michal Pavúk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabov FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Pavúk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Záhorský breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Lieskovec getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ľubomír Ogryzlo hit a great ball. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lieskovec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomáš Baran was slow to take the kick. During this time Cabov FK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cabov FK's corner Tomáš Baran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miroslav Záhorský quite easily take care of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Černák couldn't finish the play.
