Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miroslav Surový got the match started through his kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Miroslav Surový who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brestov's Tibor Valach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ľubomír Poradský's late challenge caught a Brestov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ľubomír Poradský helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Volica FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brestov:s goal. In the 8th minute, Brestov got a penalty, and Filip Čontofalský placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Viktor Stohl kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Ivan Dani charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Dani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Brestov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Dani to maneuver through the defense. Volica FK's Miroslav Surový got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lukáš Mračka hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Miroslav Surový ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tibor Valach was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jozef Antoška was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Brestov got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Dani. In the 33rd minute, Pavol Nižňanský got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislav Paštrnák in the 42nd minute of play forced Volica FK's goalkeeper Ľubomír Džadoň to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislav Paštrnák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ľubomír Džadoň having to make a save. Ľubomír Džadoň made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ján Miženko sent off a good shot on target. Ján Miženko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ľubomír Džadoň having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislav Paštrnák was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ján Miženko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brestov's supporters rose to their feet, but Ján Miženko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ľubomír Džadoň breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ladislav Paštrnák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ľubomír Džadoň tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Volica FK's zone, Ladislav Paštrnák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ľubomír Džadoň came out of the goal and Ladislav Paštrnák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ľubomír Poradský hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Brestov's Filip Čontofalský got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Brestov's Tibor Valach got control of the ball when Pavol Nižňanský tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ľubomír Džadoň took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislav Paštrnák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Brestov's zone, Pavol Nižňanský stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibor Valach came out of the goal and Pavol Nižňanský tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Pavol Nižňanský had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tibor Valach. Brestov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavol Nižňanský was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Volica FK's Ľubomír Džadoň played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Miženko in the 83rd minute of play. Ľubomír Džadoň showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ján Miženko, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Volica FK's Pavol Nižňanský sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tibor Valach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ladislav Paštrnák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ľubomír Džadoň having to interfere. Volica FK's Ľubomír Džadoň played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislav Paštrnák in the 94th minute of play. The Brestov fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Brestov's Ján Miženko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brestov fans cheered their team off the field, for while Volica FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
