Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrej Vanko started the match with the kick off. Erik Ižold's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gabriel Bába firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Stano Grexa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Benkovce FK booed when Mestisko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Zápotoka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Bába showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stano Grexa in the 13th minute of the match. Gabriel Bába came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Benkovce FK's Stano Grexa. But to his dismay, Stano Grexa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Urban Kaľavský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Benkovce FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Štafura came free, but Michal Timočko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mestisko FC's Gabriel Bába proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Mestisko FC from getting a goal against them. Andrej Vanko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Stano Grexa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Bába saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Tibor Štafura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mestisko FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Štafura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tibor Štafura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Tibor Štafura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Timočko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stano Grexa to make the kick off. Stano Grexa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrej Vanko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Timočko having to interfere. Michal Timočko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrej Vanko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomáš Semenník charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomáš Semenník the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Mestisko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Semenník to maneuver through the defense. Tibor Štafuras short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Michal Timočko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Vanko in the 86th minute of play forced Benkovce FK's goalkeeper Michal Timočko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tibor Štafura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
