Marián Tamáš started the match with the kick off. Lubáš Pavelek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marián Tamáš in the 4th minute of the match. Marián Tamáš struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Lubáš Pavelek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poet Ace! FC. In the 7thth minute of the game Michal Brtáň who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poet Ace! FC's Arnaldo Carilao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnaldo Carilao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Hupka in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Valice booed when Poet Ace! FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Semenník didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dávid Cicman's late challenge caught a Poet Ace! FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dávid Cicman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Valice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Cicman to maneuver through the defense. Marián Tamáš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lubáš Pavelek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Valice:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poet Ace! FC:s goal. Klement Kavecký was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Poet Ace! FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Klement Kavecký had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marián Tamáš scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lubáš Pavelek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29thth minute of the game Michal Brtáň who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poet Ace! FC's Arnaldo Carilao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Poet Ace! FC's Marián Tamáš got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Carilao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Brtáň in the 33rd minute of play. If Matej Kramár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, Valice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvester Syč to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Klement Kavecký fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lubáš Pavelek, passed just outside the right post. Lubáš Pavelek made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Marián Tamáš sent off a good shot on target. Poet Ace! FC's Dušan Semenník got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marián Tamáš's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Lubáš Pavelek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbert Hupka was the one to do the kick off. Klement Kavecký sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marián Tamáš in the 53rd minute of play forced Valice's goalkeeper Lubáš Pavelek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th play minute Michal Brtáň came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnaldo Carilao. 2-1. After 63 minutes, Marek Ďumbier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valice and the Poet Ace! FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valice's Marek Ďumbier got a free kick in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Valice's goal looked a bit too open when Marián Tamáš came free, but Lubáš Pavelek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marián Tamáš in the 71st minute of play forced Valice's goalkeeper Lubáš Pavelek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Silvester Syč hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marián Tamáš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lubáš Pavelek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marián Tamáš, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Marek Ďumbier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Marián Tamáš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lubáš Pavelek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Dušan Semenník got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lubáš Pavelek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matúš Ondrejovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Róbert Hupka hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Poet Ace! FC were the better team. Poet Ace! FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
