If Peter Mašša had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Lieskovany FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislav Pastor came free, but Martin Bzdušek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Erik Sopka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reca's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Sopka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Bzdušek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Peter Mašša shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Bzdušek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Erik Egreš who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reca's Alojz Halgoš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Mašša fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Bzdušek having to interfere. Martin Bzdušek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Mašša in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lieskovany FC's Lukáš Bezák got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Peter Mašša fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reca's protests and gave Peter Mašša a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Reca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Mašša to maneuver through the defense. Róbert Trnka was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Egreš got free with Alojz Halgoš in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erik Egreš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alojz Halgoš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Róbert Trnka hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Peter Mašša cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Martin Bzdušek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Luknár charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Luknár the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Reca booed when Lieskovany FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Luknár didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes, Kristián Jursa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reca and the Lieskovany FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Reca got a freekick which was hit by Kristián Jursa.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Egreš stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Erik Egreš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lieskovany FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Egreš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ladislav Pastor came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Reca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislav Pastor couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Lukáš Bezák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Mašša could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Martin Bzdušek made a huge save. After some careless play in the Lieskovany FC defense, Erik Sopka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Bzdušek. The Lieskovany FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Bzdušek should have stopped the shot. Ladislav Pastor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduard Andrejkovič kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Lieskovany FC's goalkeeper Martin Bzdušek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Mašša. When Erik Drabík fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lieskovany FC's protests and gave Erik Drabík a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Drabík kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Martin Bzdušek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislav Pastor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Mašša sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lieskovany FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Reca's performance. The match ended with a win for Reca.
