Lieskovany FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Matúš Chaban 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Tibor Bálint's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikuláš Hlavaj was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, FC Bugi Prešov's Marián Čapo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Bzdušek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lukáš Bezák during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Lukáš Bezák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lieskovany FC's Martin Bzdušek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Lieskovany FC from getting a goal against them. After 18 played minutes FC Bugi Prešov got a freekick which was hit by Martin Bach. Róbert Trnka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikuláš Hlavaj having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Tibor Bálint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marián Čapo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Martin Bzdušek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bugi Prešov. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Matúš Chaban managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bugi Prešov's supporters rose to their feet, but Matúš Chaban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Bzdušek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tibor Bálint fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lieskovany FC's protests and gave Tibor Bálint a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Lieskovany FC got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Bálint. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bugi Prešov's Matúš Chaban slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Bzdušek. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lieskovany FC's zone, Stanislav Martinček stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Bzdušek came out of the goal and Stanislav Martinček tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matúš Chaban made a kick off. Marián Čapo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislav Martinček's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Bzdušek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Lieskovany FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lukáč Labaj hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Stanislav Martinček managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bugi Prešov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislav Martinček was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matúš Chaban in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Bzdušek saved Lieskovany FC from getting behind. If Martin Bach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Bugi Prešov's Marián Čapo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Stanislav Martinček had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislav Martinček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Matúš Chaban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Bzdušek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Erik Egreš could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Mikuláš Hlavaj however easily saved by the left post.
