Sirk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Špindler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute Filip Tvrdoň shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but František Nuchalík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sirk's Gabriel Špindler in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jakubovany FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute, Róbert Kuľka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sirk's Gabriel Špindler got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 played minutes Jakubovany FK got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Štefus. 13 minutes into the match, Sirk's Miroslav Mlsna broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Róbert Bajza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Róbert Abrahamfy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sirk's Gabriel Špindler got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Róbert Bajza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee showed Marek Einhorn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sirk booed when Jakubovany FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Einhorn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbert Bajza charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 33rd match minute, Sirk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Bajza to maneuver through the defense. Róbert Kuľka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jakubovany FK's Róbert Abrahamfy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Špindler in the 41st minute of play. Róbert Bajza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Róbert Abrahamfy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Špindler to strike the kick off in the second half. Sirk's Gabriel Špindler got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Róbert Kuľka hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Róbert Abrahamfy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Špindler in the 55th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Pastorek during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jakubovany FK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Filip Pastorek hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Gabriel Špindler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Abrahamfy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Tvrdoň recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jakubovany FK's zone, Róbert Bajza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbert Abrahamfy came out of the goal and Róbert Bajza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 minutes of play, Sirk's Róbert Bajza made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbert Abrahamfy was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gabriel Špindler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Jakubovany FK's zone, Róbert Bajza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbert Abrahamfy came out of the goal and Róbert Bajza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Filip Pastorek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. The supporters of Sirk booed when Jakubovany FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Pastorek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miroslav Mlsna was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Róbert Bajza struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Róbert Abrahamfy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sirk.
