Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ľubomír Matula kicked off to start the match. When Ján Kysucký fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ЦСКА 1948's protests and gave Ján Kysucký a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in ЦСКА 1948 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Roberto Abbondanzieri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladislav Paška didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stano Jež went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ivo Balog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladislav Paška read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Ivan Ďurica hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matej Polc in the 24th minute of play forced Blatnica's goalkeeper Vladislav Paška to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Balog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blatnica's Vladislav Paška played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Pukalovič in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Stano Jež had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladislav Paška. Blatnica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stano Jež was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Blatnica's Vladislav Paška played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Balog in the 34th minute of play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Miroslav Pukalovič sped through Blatnica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vladislav Paška. In the 39th minute, Ivo Balog made a precise shot to the right of Vladislav Paška. Blatnica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Andrej Tinkanič's late challenge caught a ЦСКА 1948's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrej Tinkanič helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Blatnica's Andrej Tinkanič got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the game, Ľubomír Matula recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Abbondanzieri. Ľubomír Matula showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miroslav Pukalovič stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ján Kysucký took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Vladislav Paška to make any attempt to save it. Oto Kaňuščák struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Vladislav Paška didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ЦСКА 1948. ЦСКА 1948's Miroslav Pukalovič got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Gabriel Varga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vladislav Paška was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Miroslav Pukalovič capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miroslav Pukalovič really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. Vladislav Paška stood somewhat misplaced when Miroslav Pukalovič came free in front of goal and shot 2-7 to the left of him in the 74 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oto Kaňuščák in the 77th minute of play forced Blatnica's goalkeeper Vladislav Paška to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslav Pukalovič kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Blatnica's keeper Vladislav Paška was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Blatnica's Vladislav Paška proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Blatnica from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Blatnica's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Balog came free, but Vladislav Paška reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Blatnica got a freekick which was hit by Móric Jambor. In the 90th minute, Gabriel Varga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Stano Jež got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded ЦСКА 1948 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blatnica.
