In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Liquidation team. Samo Egreš stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stano Fábry. 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jozef Révai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The Carlos Viegas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Ladislav Figura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liquidation team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Tomáš Ernst struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Carlos Viegas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obeckov FK. Rudolf Žebrák's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Viegas firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Obeckov FK booed when Liquidation team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Erdődy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Obeckov FK's Hubert Fogaš ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Viegas. Carlos Viegas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-1. When Mário Ráž came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Liquidation team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Ráž couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Liquidation team's goalkeeper Carlos Viegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Žebrák. Obeckov FK's Stano Fábry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Ráž in the 89th minute of play. Marek Kvietik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stano Fábry having to interfere. Liquidation team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
