The ball had pretty good speed, but Stanislav Karhan firmly grabbed it by the left post. 6 minutes into the match, Slavnica FK's goalkeeper Stanislav Karhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dávid Púčik. Stanislav Karhan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Filip Mašša. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Rot in the 12th minute of play forced Slavnica FK's goalkeeper Stanislav Karhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislav Karhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matej Híreš in the 13th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Stanislav Karhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Slavnica FK's Ján Lipník got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, Dávid Púčik made a precise shot to the right of Stanislav Karhan. The supporters of FK Ružinov booed when Slavnica FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomáš Šechný didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Dávid Púčik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FK Ružinov booed when Slavnica FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. František Ančic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislav Karhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matej Híreš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ľubomír Kyjanský during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Najmík stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Dobrovolný hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ivan Dobrovolný received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Marek Ižold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislav Karhan came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Ružinov's Matej Híreš. But to his dismay, Matej Híreš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 61st minute, Ivan Dobrovolný hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Najmík's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislav Karhan was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 69 minutes, Gabriel Najmík made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Slavnica FK's Stanislav Karhan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Slavnica FK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tomáš Šechný hit a great ball. Dávid Púčik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislav Karhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Najmík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by František Ančic during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. František Ančic hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Stanislav Karhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Najmík in the 81st minute of play. Vlastimil Žufa kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Gabriel Najmík ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislav Karhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dávid Púčik scored 5-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanislav Karhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Gabriel Najmík put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Stanislav Karhan. There was no doubt that FK Ružinov were the better team. FK Ružinov's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
