Michalovce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Turany the free kick. A collision led to Michalovce getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Stanislav Plško hit a great ball. Martin Turanec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jozef Tabaček's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Michalovce's Martin Turanec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Tabaček in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ján Maška in the 21st minute of play forced Turany's goalkeeper Gabriel Bozogáň to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Michalovce booed when Turany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Polčák didn't get a good kick on the ball.
