Stano Lednický recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tatran HLOHOVEC booed when Snina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavol Moravčík didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibor Urbanovský struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Rudolf Podracký didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snina. Tatran HLOHOVEC's Rudolf Podracký played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Bobovský in the 18th minute of play. When Snina's Eduard Bobovský in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tatran HLOHOVEC's goalie prevented a goal. Rudolf Podracký made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Bobovský in the 25th minute of play. Eduard Bobovský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Podracký having to interfere. Tatran HLOHOVEC's Rudolf Podracký played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Bobovský in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Eduard Bobovský ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolf Podracký was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Stano Lednický sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matej Hurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Matej Schurger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Hvorecký kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Tibor Urbanovský might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudolf Podracký. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tibor Urbanovský ran back to his position shaking his head. Rudolf Podracký took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Urbanovský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd play minute Tibor Urbanovský came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rudolf Podracký. 0-2. Matej Hurt missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 56 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Matej Schurger right hand side. With a little luck, Tatran HLOHOVEC's Rudolf Podracký got control of the ball when Tibor Urbanovský tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matej Hurt struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Matej Schurger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tatran HLOHOVEC. Eduard Bobovský had several of the Tatran HLOHOVEC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Rudolf Podracký as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tatran HLOHOVEC's Rudolf Podracký played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Bobovský in the 84th minute of play. Rudolf Podracký made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibor Urbanovský in the 87th minute. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Tibor Urbanovský got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Tatran HLOHOVEC's Rudolf Podracký got control of the ball when Tibor Urbanovský tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Snina were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Tatran HLOHOVEC side.
