Manchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Bažík was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Matej Kováč fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matúš Lamoš having to interfere. Roman Bažík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Matúš Lamoš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matej Kováč had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Bažík in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matúš Lamoš prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Roman Bažík came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FK Slovan Duslo Šaľa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Bažík couldn't finish the play. Manchester United's Matúš Lamoš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Kováč in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michal Capík during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes FK Slovan Duslo Šaľa got a freekick which was hit by Michal Capík. In the 67th minute, Ivan Višňa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Dubinský came free, but Matúš Lamoš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FK Slovan Duslo Šaľa booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ján Unger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Višňa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Lauber having to interfere. Dezider Kazík blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslav Lauber having to make a save. In the 92nd minute, Michal Capík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Slovan Duslo Šaľa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matej Užík in the 97th minute. The Manchester United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FK Slovan Duslo Šaľa's performance. The match ended with a win for FK Slovan Duslo Šaľa.
