After a defensive mix-up in Arnutovce's zone, Gabriel Tomeček stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juraj Želínsky came out of the goal and Gabriel Tomeček tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juraj Želínsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Grenčík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Arnutovce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan Zudor to maneuver through the defense. René Grenčík struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Juraj Želínsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brestovany. With a little luck, Arnutovce's Juraj Želínsky got control of the ball when Andrej Eliáš tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juraj Želínsky stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of René Grenčík's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Miroslav Sklenár was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arnutovce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brestovany the free kick. In the 18th minute, one of Arnutovce:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arnutovce. Juraj Želínsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Tomeček, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Juraj Želínsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Grenčík in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Andrej Eliáš recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juraj Želínsky. Andrej Eliáš showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 29th minute, Brestovany's Andrej Eliáš ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juraj Želínsky. Juraj Želínsky yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Gabriel Tomeček's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juraj Želínsky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Martin Orosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jozef Hrabina, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gabriel Tomeček received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Juraj Želínsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gabriel Tomeček managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brestovany's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Tomeček was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juraj Želínsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for René Grenčík to strike the kick off in the second half. If Henrich Kočiš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game René Grenčík who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arnutovce's Juraj Želínsky was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Andrej Ondruš came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Brestovany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrej Ondruš couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Arnutovce's Daniel Pažický got a free kick in the 57th minute. Andrej Eliáš struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Juraj Želínsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brestovany. Andrej Ondruš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Ondruš in the 64th minute of play forced Arnutovce's goalkeeper Juraj Želínsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juraj Želínsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrej Eliáš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Tomeček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juraj Želínsky having to interfere. In the 70th minute Gabriel Tomeček shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juraj Želínsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrich Kočiš in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juraj Želínsky saved Arnutovce from getting behind. Juraj Želínsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrej Eliáš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling René Grenčík in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juraj Želínsky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jozef Hrabina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Tomeček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute of the match René Grenčík sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juraj Želínsky skillfully saved the ball. Gabriel Tomeček's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juraj Želínsky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes Arnutovce's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was René Grenčík who took care of the corner kick. René Grenčík made a great header on Brestovany's corner, it was just that Arnutovce's Juraj Želínsky managed to reach the ball for a save. Milan Zudor hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Juraj Želínsky stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Tomeček's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Grenčík in the 90th minute of play forced Arnutovce's goalkeeper Juraj Želínsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Henrich Kočiš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brestovany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrich Kočiš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brestovany's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
