Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Volica's Miroslav Tandara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miroslav Tandara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jozef Hrabina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Arnutovce's goal looked a bit too open when Pavol Švajda came free, but Juraj Želínsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Volica getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pavol Švajda hit a great ball. Ladislav Stanislav charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislav Stanislav the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ladislav Stanislav hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslav Tandara in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juraj Želínsky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Jozef Hrabina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Volica's Michal Hnilica tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Miroslav Tandara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juraj Želínsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Martin Malý made a precise shot to the right of Juraj Želínsky. Arnutovce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 35th minute, Jozef Hrabina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pavol Švajda hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Volica's Matej Minarik got control of the ball when Jozef Hrabina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jozef Hrabina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Ľubomír Nádašdy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslav Tandara struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Juraj Želínsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volica. Jozef Hrabina kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Michal Hnilica was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Juraj Želínsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Tandara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matej Minarik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Stanislav, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Martin Malý might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juraj Želínsky. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Malý ran back to his position shaking his head. Jozef Hrabina struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Matej Minarik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arnutovce. Milan Zudor might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matej Minarik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milan Zudor ran back to his position shaking his head. Milan Zudor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Matej Minarik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jozef Hrabina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matej Minarik having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Volica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
